How to read this chart. Google phone conversions were not being counted between June 28 and July 21 because of a tracking setting on our side, corrected on July 22. Conversions dated before July 22 above are therefore almost entirely form submissions, and the Google cost per conversion for this window reads higher than the real one.

The pipeline

From leads to booked appointments.

Platform leads are only the start. This is what happened next in the CRM (MarketSharp) over the same window: how many became a booked sales appointment, and how many have sold. Meta forms land fully tracked; Google runs mostly on phone calls, which are still being connected to the campaigns.

Phone demand

Google Ads drove 51 tracked phone calls this window, 32 of them 60 seconds or longer. Calls are matched to Google by click ID, so this includes calls placed from the landing pages, not just the ad call button. Answered calls only. These already feed Google Ads bidding.

Why Google reads light in the CRM. Google is phone-led. Those calls are tracked in CallRail and already feed Google Ads bidding, but in the CRM they log under phone or other sources, not the landing-page tag, so they do not roll up as "Google" appointments. Read Meta's funnel as complete and Google's as still wiring up.
i
The scorecard is appointments, not cost per lead. Meta turned 105 CRM leads into 30 booked appointments (29% set) and 7 sales. Cost per Meta appointment ran about $515. Counts are activity inside the window; a lead, its appointment and its sale can fall in different months, so appointments are the cleanest read on this window. Source: MarketSharp, sales-presentation appointments only.
What's next

Where we take it from here.

Each move ties back to what this window proved.

Primary move

Teach Google what a real lead looks like.

Budget moved to 70% Search and 30% PMax on July 23, at your direction. The deeper fix is now in flight: your booked appointments from MarketSharp feed back into Google as the signal it bids toward, so the system learns to chase appointments instead of raw form fills.

What we do
Weight bidding toward booked appointments, not form volume.
Evidence
Your July 22 review of every form lead, which showed where PMax quality was breaking down.
Risk
Appointment volume is still thin, so the signal needs a few weeks to mature before it fully steers delivery.
We need
Nothing right now. Your lead review is what drove these changes.
Operating plan

The next window.

  • Blocked the junk at the source Games, Kids and Kids and Family app categories are excluded account wide, plus Roblox, Minecraft, and installer and job-seeker terms.
  • Feeding appointments back to Google so bidding optimizes toward booked sales presentations rather than form submissions.
  • Watching Search delivery Search has less available inventory than PMax in these markets, so we are tracking whether the new split fills.
  • Reporting on appointments cost per appointment and set rate are the scorecard, not cost per lead.
The next chapter

Now we scale it.

We push the proven audiences and creative, fix what is expensive, and bring you a fresh read each window. Tell us how the leads land in your pipeline.
