An appointment is a confirmed first meeting on your New Pool Design Meeting or Renovation At-Home Consult calendar, counted once per homeowner on the day it was booked, with cancellations left out. Both periods are counted that way, straight from your CRM as it stands today, so these totals will not match earlier reports line for line. Leads are counted where they happened: Local Services bills per lead, the ad platforms report what they can attribute to themselves, and the CRM holds everything that actually landed. The channel leads are a subset of the CRM opportunities and are never added to them.
The story

What the numbers say.

01
12 of 47 booked

The landing page is where paid appointments come from

The paid landing page sent your CRM 47 leads and 12 of them booked an appointment, one in four. Since August 26 it also records which ad each homeowner clicked, and on new pool design meetings Google and Meta are even, two each.

02
60 conversations, 0 booked

Messenger and Instagram did not book meetings

49 Messenger and 11 Instagram conversations reached your CRM this period. None of them booked an appointment. That is the pattern you told us about, and it is why the Messages campaign was turned off on 26 August. Its budget now goes to the landing page.

03
7 contracts, $0 recorded

Contracts are closing, but carry no value yet

Seven inground contracts came from leads created since August. One started on the paid landing page on August 9, before click tracking, so no channel can be credited. Every contract shows $0, so Google cannot yet learn which clicks turn into the larger jobs.

Appointments

66 appointments booked, from 211 new leads in your CRM.

That is 31 appointments for every hundred leads that landed, down from 48, at $235 of media for each one, up from $100. Spend grew by 125% while bookings held level. This is the number you told us to report on.

Appointments booked, week by week

Counted on the week the appointment was booked. The last bar is two days. In the thirty days before, the weeks ran 22, 22, 10 and 15.

Leads and appointments are counted over the same thirty days, not followed person by person, so the rate describes the window.

Where they come from

211 new leads, and the landing page books the most.

Grouped by the source your CRM records on each opportunity, so it is the same breakdown you would see on your own dashboard.

New leads by source, and how many booked

Bar length is new leads. The figure beside it is how many of those homeowners booked an appointment in the window.

Booked counts leads whose homeowner booked in the window, so it can differ slightly from the 66 above: a homeowner with two leads counts on both, and two appointments belong to leads created earlier. Sources were filled in across this window on September 16. The thirty days before were not backfilled, so they are not compared here.

Since August 26

For three weeks Google could not be measured. Since August 26 it can.

Until August 26 the landing page did not record which ad a homeowner clicked. The 26 landing page leads before that carry no click id, so Google cannot be credited with anything from its first three weeks, including the August 9 lead that went on to sign.

Appointments go back to Google daily

Booked design meetings are sent to Google Ads each morning so it learns which clicks lead to a meeting. Google accepted five of the six in its latest upload summary.

02
10 of 10 accepted

Contracts go back too

All ten contracts sent to Google Ads were accepted. None matched an ad click yet, because none carries one: they started before click tracking or were entered by hand.

What we need from you

Confirm what the four contracts entered on September 11 are, and fill in contract value on closed deals. Source is now required when your team enters a lead by hand, so new records will carry one.

Every channel

Each channel buys a different homeowner.

They are not competing. They cover different moments in the same decision. The grey line under each number is the thirty days before.

Google Ads launched on August 3, so the thirty days before hold only two weeks of it.

What counted

Google reports 653 actions. 97 are real leads.

We break this apart before reporting it, because the headline number misleads in every account of this kind we have seen. In the thirty days before, it was 242 actions and 15 real leads.

Who is answering

Your buyer on social is 45-54.

That age band clicks more than any other and fills in the most quote forms, 14 of Meta's 25. 35-44 opens the most conversations. These charts cover Meta only.

Who clicks the ads, by age

Counted on people who clicked, not on who saw it. Who an ad reaches is a fact about the algorithm; who clicks is a fact about your market.

Where this leaves us

Google was not silent. For three weeks it was unmeasured.

It is not that Google produced no sales. For its first three weeks nobody could measure them. Since August 26 every landing page click is recorded, and Google is even with Meta on design meetings, a short window for a pool sales cycle. With contract values filled in, the next thirty days will be the first fair read. What we do with that next is your call.
